Hotel and Logistics Services Division
Mission
Promoting ways to protect the patient and its environment and providing effective environmental services, occupational safety, waste management and treatment. This is achieved through:
- Provision of a safe environment for the patient and meeting his requests and requirements in what concerns the hotel and logistics services
- Compliance with applicable national environmental laws
- Appropriate waste segregation
Services provided by the Department of Hotel, Logistics, and Environmental Services
- Supervising the application of policies, regulations and standards concerning environmental services (cleaning, pest control...), and waste management
- Assuring provision of patients rooms hotelery requirements
- Inspecting patients rooms, and following-up patients complaints concerning hotel and logistics services
- Managing laundry unit work
- Training staff
- Doing statistical reports
Current projects
- Renewing of some first class rooms furniture
- Providing TV for all patient′s rooms with Satellite Service
- Providing internet service
- Placing closets in the Intensive Care Unit Hall so that patients accompanying persons can keep their objects in
- Renewing of some pediatrics rooms supplies, in line with the requirements of this department
- Distinguishing of first class rooms
- Studying the possibility of replacing plastic bags used for linen collection by non plastic ones
Ain Wazein Hospital has achieved important environmental goals aiming to reduce pollution and to save the environment, among which were the conversion of the parking adjacent to the hospital building to planted gardens, the establishment of new alternative parking relatively distant from the hospital, the reliance on solar energy to generate electric power for heating water, and treating infectious waste using the scientific methods approved internationally

The Office of the Head of Hotel and Logistics Services is located on the basement (-2) of the hospital near outpatient department, and the office of Hotel and Environmental services supervisor on the basement (-2) near the operator office.
