Elderly care center staff undergo continuous training through year-round conferences held at Ain Wazein Hospital aimed at improving their knowledge in the field of geriatrics, patient care and quality care.

In addition, the center provides weekly conferences to residents in Internal Medicine from the American University of Beirut that covers various topics in geriatrics. These include but are not limited to pressure ulcers, falls, Alzheimer's disease, health maintenance and dementia.

Journal clubs are held weekly to keep staff abreast of the latest developments in geriatrics and related medical fields.
The Center organizes a biennial geriatric conference with the help of international and local speakers. The first geriatric congress was held in 2001.

The main topics of the congress were about:
- Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disorder in the elderly, bone disorders, current& future health care services for the elderly, psychiatric problems in the elderly ,and geriatric syndromes. The second congress was held on 2003 Click for Details
